All Evica’s S series search lights utilise the latest in advanced Phosphor LED technology, providing the ultimate in high intensity lighting.
Evica’s unique hybrid Fresnel lens enables total internal reflection of light
This unique technology provides a high passage of light with minimum loss of intensity. This unique combination of technology and design also results in a more compact Search light.
Evica’s proprietary forced cooling system integrates the highest quality GR487 salt fog cooling fans tested to ASTM B 117 [25]. The fans force air through the proprietary cooling heat sink which maintain the LED’s at an optimum temperature, prolonging the LED lifespan. The S300 incorporates a thermal management system ensuring optimum efficiency at all times.
Thermal and or visible cameras can also be integrated into the design enabling autonomous control of the pan/tilt system, this unique feature will assist in the following applications.
Man overboard detect and track, collision avoidance, Search and rescue, Piracy detection, alert the operator of floating debris or oil spills in the water, and the final feature, deterrence and delay which deploys a strobe feature at 9 hertz to inhibit any potential intruder.
The Axis mount Servo direct drive pan tilt system which incorporates stabilisers enables the operator to search and track a selected target with a smooth and precise 360 degree succinct operation.
Manual control by Joy stick or by connection to other control devices.
Thermal and or visible cameras can also be integrated into the design enabling autonomous control of the pan/tilt system.
Evica’s Axis mount utilises Pelco D modified control protocol via RS485 serial bus to tether with other PTZ ( Pan tilt zoom) systems such as Thermal and visible cameras, Radar and GPS.
Evica’s S200/S300 series utilises a standard military pintal mount ensuring stability and ease of movement. The pintal mount search light has been specifically developed for search and rescue ribs, tenders and also to enhance visibility when undertaking close proximity navigation on larger vessels.
The S200 has the facility to provide a wide and narrow beam for search and rescue applications, with an output of 10,000 lumens. The S200, due to its low power consumption is ideal for smaller vessels. In addition it can be utilised with Evica’s high powered battery pack and portable suction base, this enables the operator to deploy the search light in the event of an emergency, while also being able to position the light appropriately.
